Credit Agricole Bank became the general partner of the fifth «French wine and alcohol day in Ukraine»

The fifth «French wine and alcohol day in Ukraine» organized by the Business France Agency for French enterprises’ export development at the Embassy of France in Ukraine took place on 17 May 2017 in Intercontinental Kyiv Hotel at 2 A Velyka Zhytomyrska str. Credit Agricole Bank became the general partner and direct participant of the event.

This year, 11 winemakers from almost all the regions of France presented their products to the winemaking sector professionals as part of «French wine and alcohol day in Ukraine». The tasting session lasted from 12:00 till 18:00 at Olivera Restaurant of the Intercontinental Kyiv Hotel, and at 11:15 a biodynamic winemaking workshop took place in the Maidan Hall of the Hotel.

This year, Credit Agricole Group subsidiary Grands Crus also presented its wines at the tasting session during traditional French wine day in Ukraine. Overall, Grands Crus has 6 chateaus offering broad selection of wine.

It is also worth mentioning that by having its own first-rate vineries in France Credit Agricole establishes emotional bonds with its customers. The design of Kyiv branch for VIP clients reflects the interest to winemaking on the part of the Group as a whole and the bank in particular. The concept of this branch’s layout is based on winemaking regions of France.

The greeting area of the branch is called Loire Valley. Champagne room is designed for business meetings and recreates the atmosphere of the French province famous for its white sparkling wine. The negotiation room is named after the well-known red wine production region – Bordeau.
