Jean-Jacques Herve, Councelor in agricultural matters at Credit Agricole Bank, finishes his career at the bank

On the 1st of July Councelor in agricultural matters at Credit Agricole Bank Jean-Jacques Herve finishes his career at the bank.

After a career of high official in the French foreign ministry and the ministry of agriculture Jean-Jacques Herve joined CA group in Ukraine in 2009 as a Counselor in agricultural matters to the Chairman, taking up the mission to help the Group build in Ukraine a reference bank in agriculture. This was a very big challenge and Jean-Jacques took this challenge with determination and conviction and played a key role in making what CAU is today in this sector.

Mr Herve supported the bank in defining and implementing a relevant agro/agri strategy. He trained dozens of employees basing on a very practical approach and having a strong belief that it was not possible to be an agri banker without knowing what a farm was or without knowing in detail how a milking machine works. Jean-Jacques created and put in place a dedicated agro/agri expert team which is recognized today in the market as the best one operating in Ukraine. Finally Mr Herve played a key role in the setting up of strong relation between the bank and its customers, based on partnership, trust, confidence and professionalism. Moreover it was estimated that Jean-Jacques Herve spent more than 100 days per year visiting our clients from the farmers to the main agro producers. This is a real dedication to his lifework.
