Agro team of CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK together with the team of national agricultural portal Latifundist.com ended the year with two more AgroExpeditions:
to the elevators and milk enterprises of Ukraine.
AgroExpeditions around the elevators identified the need for additional capacities for cultivated crops storage.
The enterprises are trying to diversify their activity in order to remain profitable. Some are planning to establish a grain processing (for instance construction of mills), others plan to actively develop trading.
AgroExpedition to the milk enterprises showed that owing to the well-qualified management, technologies and dedication there are companies in Ukraine producing milk of European quality. And the quantities of milk received from Ukrainian cows (9-12K l/year) can make even the French farmers envy (7-8K l/year).
During two AE the team visited 9 elevators and 7 milk enterprises in Cherkasy, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. Overall 7 AgroExpeditions were held in 2015 that allowed to additionally study the problems and identify the current trends in the agriculture.
