Credit Agricole has deleted the russian language in all customer service and communication channels

04 November 2022

From November 4, Credit Agricole completely deleted the russian language from all customer service and communication channels, namely on the bank’s official website and CA+ mobile app for private individuals. It is the logical conclusion to the process initiated by the bank in summer, when it stopped supporting the russian version of the website, only keeping Ukrainian and English ones. CORPEX, internet-bank for legal entities, has only supported Ukrainian and English version since its recent launch. The russian option in the internet-bank for entrepreneurs уA+ Pro will be deactivated in the next system update scheduled in a few weeks. In our contact center, on social media and other communication channels customers are addressed to in Ukrainian by default.

“We have completely deleted russian language from all communication channels and systems of the bank. The decision to give up russian language is a matter of principle and logic for us. Since the war broke out, Credit Agricole has taken a clear socially responsible stand: whereas in Ukraine the bank has allocated UAH 20 million for charity, it also invests in the launch of new products and development of the outlet network, supports its customers and its team. We believe that by giving up the use of the russian language we are boosting the development of Ukrainian, our mother tongue!” – says Viktoriia Torianyk, head of Brand and Communications Department at Credit Agricole Bank.

By the way, to celebrate the Day of Ukrainian Literature and Language on November 9, we have prepared a gift for all our customers – the amazing course from Solovei Ukrainian Language School.
