Credit Agricole has donated state-of-the-art anesthetizing apparatus worth uah 2.3 million to a hospital in Dnipro city

13 March 2024

The international Credit Agricole Group, with the assistance of charitable foundation “Your Support”, donated top-quality anesthetizing apparatus "Leon plus" worth UAH 2.3 million to a hospital in Dnipro, as an anaesthesia breathing system was direly needed for the doctors’ work at this facility. The extensive service life of the machine, a sensory display and a number of modern sensors set it apart from its counterparts. The equipment is multifunctional and can be used for both children and adults.

"It is safer, it allows for more precise anaesthetics dosage adjustment during anaesthesia process. This apparatus also has extended auxiliary modes of ventilation, which makes it possible to use even when treating babies. Surgical interventions in our hospital are a daily practice, there can be up to 4 surgeries per day depending on the workload of the department," says a doctor at the hospital in Dnipro.

This Dnipro hospital is one of the most modern in the region. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, it has become multispeciality and receives wounded civilians from the war zone. Thus, the number of patients here has increased by one and a half times, and three additional operating theaters have been organized.

Helping doctors is part of Credit Agricole social stance.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Credit Agricole Group has allocated UAH 97 million to various charity projects. We focus on medical facilities because we believe that nowadays it is extremely important to save the lives of patients, especially in front-line areas," says Olha Reznyk, Head of Commercial Sector at Credit Agricole.
