Credit Agricole won silver at the prestigious international award ceremony EBMA (Employer Brand Management Awards 2024), held in London on September 12. The jury panel recognized the bank’s “Diversity Strategy in the Wartime” project as one of the leaders in the category “Best diversity and inclusion strategy”. In total, over 100 leading companies of Europe from various industries took part in the competition.
“The employer brand is becoming increasingly significant for the development of the company strategy. We are a human-centric bank, so equality and inclusion are strategically important for us. For nearly 5 years, the Equality Charter has been in place at Credit Agricole, which guarantees upholding equal rights within the team, values of inclusion, diversity and prevention of discrimination. We continuously develop and adapt it to address the challenges that Ukraine is facing at present. It is how we contribute to the wellbeing of our team and recovery of Ukraine and its economy” - comments Olena Urusova, HR Director at Credit Agricole.
As part of the Equality charter, the bank has instituted the Diversity Community, which, among others, focuses on the issue of veterans, as 70% of employees of the bank are women, thus Credit Agricole emphasizes the support of families with members serving in the armed forces, especially of wives and mothers.
To determine the winners, the award judges rated the cases presented by the participating companies based on the following criteria: objective, research and planning, creativity and innovations, strategy and implementation, results.
EBMA (Employer Brand Management Awards) is a prestigious award that for 10 consecutive years has celebrated companies with the best employer branding. The 20 award categories enable the companies to showcase their achievements in creating an appealing work environment and a strong employer brand.
