Young Professionals program celebrates its 5th anniversary!

Credit Agricole is celebrating the 5^th anniversary of its Young Professionals program, an initiative aimed at developing young professionals and helping them build their careers at the bank. Through this program, young people with little to no experience can start off their professional careers and develop practical work skills. Today, more than 45 young talents are already working under the program in various units of the bank.

“Young professionals play a key role in the development of any organization, as they are the ones who bring new ideas, energy, and a modern perspective on processes. For this reason, Credit Agricole launched the Young Professionals program, an initiative aimed at developing new talents and shaping the bank’s future leaders.  Over the past 5 years, the project has brought together over 100 participants, and today about 60 employees continue to grow within the bank, 13 of whom are program alumni. For Credit Agricole, it is important to create an environment where young people can realize their potential, build their careers, and contribute to the development of the business,” notes Carlos de Cordoue, Chairman of Credit Agricole’s Management Board.

The Young Professionals program was launched in 2020 and takes a comprehensive approach to developing participants’ professional skills. It includes internships, training, practical tasks and projects, as well as mentoring support to help young professionals adapt to their roles more quickly.

Today, the program covers the bank’s key departments: IT, cybersecurity, compliance, audit, risk management, finance, corporate business, marketing, operations, and HR. This allows us to involve young professionals in various areas of the bank and shape future specialists. The program lasts up to 3 years, after which the participants can continue their career at the bank in specialist roles.
