Credit Agricole is the leader in Corporate Social Responsibility among banks of Ukraine in 2021

Credit Agricole won the award of the “Best CSR bank Ukraine 2021” in the rating by the reputable British publication Global Banking & Finance Review. The ranking is created by the GBAF Publications LTD research group in order to highlight the most advanced innovations, achievements, strategies, as well as progressive and inspiring changes taking place in the global financial community.

Since 2016, Credit Agricole has been running a large-scale corporate social responsibility program “We Care!”, which covers charity, volunteering, environmental initiatives, and caring for employees. The bank implements more than 40 projects a year and strives to involve as many employees as possible to its projects. In 2020, Credit Agricole implemented the largest charitable project in the bank’s history –11.2 million hryvnias were allocated to purchase medical equipment to help Ukraine in the fight against COVID-19. Together with the partner – “Tvoya Opora” Charitable Foundation – the bank purchased 99 units of various medical equipment for 10 hospitals across 8 regions, including artificial lung ventilators, ultrasound machines, and patient monitors. On top of that, Credit Agricole is concerned about the environment: the bank implements the Climate Strategy, conducts regular audits, and uses energy efficient technologies.
