Credit Agricole tops financial resilience ranking by Minfin

Credit Agricole has won the top spot in the rating of the most resilient banks of Ukraine based on Q1 2024 results according to the Minfin portal, having gone up by two positions compared to Q4 2023. In particular, the bank is among leaders in terms of trust from the depositors and received some of the top scores for resilience from independent experts.

The rating results demonstrate that Credit Agricole is prepared to keep up the stable operations even in the context of the deleterious external factors. The bank enjoys continuous support from the shareholder – the international Credit Agricole Group, which is among the top 10 biggest banks worldwide. Also, Credit Agricole is recognized as the leader of the annual rating of the most resilient banks by Dragon Capital investment company and NV media.

The Minfin portal does quarterly assessment of the activity of banks based on the information from the official and open sources. 34 banking institutions were included in the rating. The Minfin portal updates the rating results and determines the stability rating of the financial companies which hold at least UAH 1 billion of citizens’ funds, including deposits, as well as current accounts. The banks get points from 1 to 5 based on the indicators characterizing their resilience to stresses and loyalty of their depositors: asset quality, liquidity, external support option, deposit growth and solvency reputation are all taken into account.
