Credit Agricole Bank is a partner of the «Created by Women» award

On 19 October, a «Created by Women» award of business women was presented in Ukrinform news agency. The purpose of the contest is to support women's entrepreneurship in Ukraine and mark a business project that serves the country's development. The award was initiated by the Business Women Committee of the French-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFU), which consists of women heading the companies that participate in the Chamber.  

«Today, CCIFU unites more than 120 enterprises, the fifth part of which is run by women. This is a small percentage, but it is constantly growing. CCIFU is proud of its ladies-founders of their own companies or the directors of large, medium and small businesses. Women are presented in all sectors of activity; they demonstrate the versatility of their talents and receive recognition. In Ukraine, French companies are making efforts to promote women's entrepreneurship and are increasingly entrusting management positions to them», – Jean-Paul Piotrowski, President of CCIFU and the Chairman of the Management Board of Credit Agricole Bank, comments.    

«Created by Women» award is open for women who have recently set up their own companies, regardless of the activity sector. Applications for participation are accepted from 22 October, 2018 to 25 January, 2019. For details, please, visit the website.

The winner of the contest will be selected by the professional jury consisting of the CCIFU Business Women Committee members and the partners, including Larysa Bondarieva, Board Member of Credit Agricole Bank. Ms. Isabelle Dumont, the Ambassador of France to Ukraine, has become an honorable president of the jury.   

The winner will receive mentoring and support in the issues of finance, accounting, communication and marketing throughout the year. She will also go on a five-day trip to Paris to visit the headquarters of French companies that are partners of the contest. The company of the winner will become a member of the CCIFU free of charge.
