Credit Agricole is awarded at the HR Pro Awards 2025

28 November 2025

On November 14, 2025, during the All-Ukrainian annual HR Pro Awards for CEO and HR professionals, Credit Agricole was awarded in the “Health and Wellbeing” category. It confirms that our corporate wellbeing program is aimed at supporting health and quality of life of our employees and is one of the best in Ukraine. The award ceremony was organized by the Ukrainian Association of HR Professionals that supports and helps the community to grow by giving the participants unique opportunities for professional development. This year’s “Road to Success” conference and the award ceremony brought together everyone who shapes the future of human resources in Ukraine, specifically:

  • 70+ speakers who shared their experience and daring ideas;
  • 14 nomination categories recognizing the country’s best HR projects;
  • 17 hours of case studies, ready to be implemented;
  • 400+ participants.

When deciding the winners, the jury took into the account such criteria:

  • improvement in the level of HR practices in the country;
  • balance between cost and value;
  • quality of rethinking and adaptation;
  • strength and immediacy of the impact;
  • long-term effect.

“You Can Count on Credit Agricole” is a complex wellbeing program created to support mental, physical, and emotional health of the employees. It helps the team feel cared for by the bank and remain resilient even in the most difficult times,” notes Kyrylo Sharaiev, the deputy head of HR Department at Credit Agricole.

As part of the wellbeing system development, Credit Agricole has implemented a number of important programs to support its employees and their families. These include: life insurance, health insurance, psychological support, and the opportunity to recuperate together with their families at health resorts in Ukraine. Our “We Care!” charity fund, established in 2015, holds a special place: it provides support to the employees and their families in tough circumstances related to health. In addition, there are other programs, such as charitable assistance to victims of war and the “Sweet Home” program for the restoration of the destroyed property. Our employees are the bank's most valuable asset. We invest not only in financial performance, but also in the wellbeing of our team, because we consider ourselves one family. For this reason, the wellbeing program constantly expands: it helps to find balance between the family, work, and the uneasy conditions of today. In May of 2024, an important new division was created within the HR Department: Social Program Support Division, which helps our mobilized employees and veterans and their families by providing legal support and assistance. Recently, the Policy on Supporting Veterans and the Charter on Financial Inclusion and Reintegration of Veterans were implemented; these documents reinforce our position and specific steps to support those who defend our country.

“In times of uncertainty, it is especially important to support the team, provide a sense of stability and internal support. Providing care as the employer plays a key role, as it not only gives security and comfort, but also promotes employee dedication, engagement, and productivity. Therefore, this award is an important recognition of our joint efforts,” adds Olga Peronkova, project and program manager in the field of material (non-material) production.
