Credit Agricole delivered 24 oxygen concentrators to six regional hospitals

As a part of the fifth wave of charity, Credit Agricole supported by “Your support” Charity Fund purchased UAH 771 000 worth 24 oxygen concentrators for six regional hospitals. Netishyn Specialized Medical Unit, Slavuta Central District Hospital, Volyn Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital, Lokhvytsia District Hospital, Berdiansk Local Medical Association, and Kyiv Municipal Clinical Hospital No.1 received such assistance.   

“Medical system doesn’t withstand the influx of COVID-19 patients. There is a shortage of oxygen. The situation is particularly critical in small towns and district hospitals, where there are no oxygen pipelines systems. That is why purchase of oxygen concentrators is the only way out for tens of thousands patients. We are grateful to Credit Agricole for joining all-Ukrainian charity initiative “Ukraine, breathe!” and purchasing these badly-needed breathing devices,” commented Valeria Tatarchuk, Founder and CEO of “Your support” Charity Fund. 

Since the beginning of coronavirus crisis Credit Agricole has channeled UAH 11.2 mln to support hospitals. Supported by “Your support” Charity Fund, the Bank used these funds to purchase almost 100 units of medical equipment and helped 10 hospitals in 8 regions, and particularly base hospitals in Kyiv, Ternopil, Kharkiv, as well as regional hospital in Chernivtsi.

The charity initiative of Credit Agricole was recognized in the contest "Partnership for Sustainable Development 2020" of the UN Global Compact in Ukraine. Also according to “Vlast deneg” magazine, the corporate social responsibility program “We Care!” among the TOP-25 corporate social responsibility programs for the second year in a row.
