19 generators for child care centers is a good initiative of Crédit Agricole Nord Midi-Pyrénées

Crédit Agricole Nord Midi-Pyrénées is a regional bank of Credit Agricole Group with its Head Office in the city of Albi, France, purchased 19 power generators that costed nearly UAH 3,500,000 for 11 social institutions throughout Ukraine. These generators were transferred to orphanages, rehabilitation centers, and centers of social support to children and families. All generators with capacity from 3 to 25 kW were delivered from France. They will secure the operation of medical equipment, refrigerators, heating and lighting of premises, and functioning of other important devices during blackouts.

Credit Agricole Ukraine together with Your Support charity foundation provided the delivery of power generators to Ukraine and to all social institutions. It took just one month to implement such a wide-scale project.

“The entire large family of Crédit Agricole Group from 47 countries stands with Ukraine, and try to help as much as possible and to be useful as much as possible in this difficult period. This charity project arose from the current need: we understand that child-care centers are the least protected in case of blackouts during the war. Besides light and heating, they need to support functioning of critical medical equipment. Unfortunately, we can’t stop the war, but we can support those in need”, David Julliard, Crédit Agricole Nord Midi-Pyrénées Head of Entreprises, Public Sector and International (Business), comments. 

This is the second wide-scale charity initiative for purchase of generators for social institutions implemented by Credit Agricole Ukraine together with regionals banks of the Group and with support of the Your Support foundation. Over few months, we donated 39 generators for the total amount of UAH 14.5 million.

“From the first days and the first minutes of the war, we felt a huge support from other banks of the Group, including in charity. It is important for us to be here and now, and therefore, we focused our attention on purchase of power generators for social institutions so that they provide them with light and heating during blackouts. We keep increasing the amounts of our charity project and engage new partners who share our value to the good-doing. Since the start of the war, the bank allocated almost UAH 22 million for charity. We help orphanages affected by the war, and hospitals, as we believe that business should be an example of social responsibility”, Stephan Fallick, the Board Member of Credit Agricole Ukraine, tells.

On the territory of Ukraine, the charity project was coordinated by Your Support foundation and by employees of Credit Agricole Ukraine.
