As part of the New Year’s charity initiative, employees of the bank raised almost UAH 57000. With this money, the bank supported by “Your support” Charity Fund purchased Custodiol for little patients of Amosov National Institute of cardiovascular surgery. This medication is extremely necessary – it “preserves” heart during the surgery.
The charity support was accomplished thanks to the good New Year’s tradition of Board Members of Credit Agricole who, by their example, show how important doing good deeds is.
“It has been the second year in a row that Board Members hold fundraiser auction, where they offer their own original lots. In order to participate in a draw of wished-for lots, employees had to donate to “Custodiol from Credit Agricole” campaign. And as soon as the situation with quarantine restrictions allows it, the winners will receive their prizes: they will ride wakesurf board and quad bikes, play golf, have a piano lesson, and will try many more activities in the company of top managers of the bank”, said Viktoriia Torianyk, Head of PR and Internal Communications Division of Credit Agricole Bank. “This time, we managed to raise even more than we expected – 112% of the planned amount. We are sincerely happy that more and more people join to these good deeds and share values of corporate culture of the bank. Of course, by supporting all Credit Agricole charity projects, top managers of the bank significantly contribute to the development of social awareness.”
It is worth mentioning that the bank’s team implements charity initiatives by its own efforts through fundraising for a good deeds, helping orphanages and participating in Donor Days. At the same time, the bank makes considerable contributions to system charity projects. For example, the bank held five waves of charity and contributed over UAH 11.2 mln in 2020. Supported by “Your support” Charity Fund, Credit Agricole spent these funds for purchase of almost 100 units of medical equipment, and helped 10 hospitals in 8 regions, and particularly base hospitals in Kyiv, Ternopil, Kharkiv, as well as regional hospital in Chernivtsi. This charity initiative of Credit Agricole was recognized in the contest "Partnership for Sustainable Development 2020" by the UN Global Compact in Ukraine.
It should be pointed out, that Credit Agricole Bank has been implementing the large-scale corporate social responsibility program “We Care!” since 2016. According to “Vlast deneg” magazine, “We Care!” has been among TOP-25 best CSR programs for several years in a now.
