Results of 50 days quarantine from Carlos de Cordoue, CEO of Credit Agricole Ukraine

We are crossing the line of 50 days of quarantine. This also equals to my staying in Ukraine. We all understood this crisis to be a great challenge for all of us. Now looking 50 days back I am positive about these days outcome. We overcame many difficulties and our team did all its best supporting clients, employees and society.

I am impressed and inspired with efforts each employee makes for bank’s better results and support of clients. And I want to share with you some of our achievements during these 50 days:

• Bank continues providing all its products and services for all segments of clients.
• We observe high business activity in many segments despite the quarantine. 106 new corporate clients opened accounts recently.
• 90% of our branches and 800 front-office employees are working every day for you!
• We develop many tools for online operations to minimize the need to visit bank. So most of daily banking could be done from home. 
• We support our clients who are in difficulties now, working individually with each of them. Over 1000 retail clients got credit holidays.
• We keep on creating new products and optimizing service, and new options for decreasing the tense on client’s budgets. 
• We continue financing of our clients both individuals and corporate.
• We support agrarians during their sowing campaign providing all financial products and thus ensuring the harvest for Ukraine. Over 200 agribusiness clients financed recently.
• As a leader on car loans market we keep helping clients buy new cars. Nearly 800 clients got car financing during quarantine.
• 85% of head office employees work remotely. Thanks to our digital transformation remote work doesn’t effect on bank’s efficiency.
• We keep all the guaranties for our employees, no decrease and even on boarded 29 new colleagues.
• And we invested already 1,3 m UAH for charity to equip hospitals to fight against COVID-19.
