Medical equipment worth over UAH 2 million for Khmilnyk Central Hospital

10 July 2025

Credit Agricole donated state-of-the-art medical equipment worth over UAH 2 million to Khmilnyk Central Hospital in Vinnytsia region. These are 10 electric hospital beds, which are extremely necessary to ensure comfort for the patient during treatment and rehabilitation. This good initiative was implemented with the assistance of “Your Support” Charity Fund.

The purchased beds have already been placed in the new operating room and surgical intensive care unit. They are multifunctional, equipped with a remote control and a control panel that provide access to settings for both medical staff and patients themselves. According to doctors, this greatly simplifies the treatment process.

“A patient’s stay in a surgical hospital, especially in the intensive care unit, is almost always associated with a long-term hospitalization. Currently, our hospital provides inpatient care for 203 patients, 40 of whom are wounded servicemen undergoing treatment, surgery, and rehabilitation. And the number of people requiring surgery continues to increase, thus their comfort during the stay in the hospital is vital. The new functional beds are much more convenient for both patients and medical staff who provide assistance every day,” comments Yuliia Shumyhora, medical director of the Municipal Non-Commercial Enterprise “Khmilnyk Central Hospital”.

Khmilnyk Central Hospital is a multidisciplinary medical institution that provides specialized inpatient medical care. Each year, the hospital provides assistance for more than 9000 patients and performs approximately 2500 surgeries.

"Since the beginning of the war, Credit Agricole has focused its efforts and resources even more on charitable initiatives. Our main goal is to support medical institutions, because now it is crucial to provide them with state-of-the-art equipment that saves the lives of our citizens. Over 100 good initiatives worth over UAH 170 million are the results of the We Care! social responsibility program during the war. This is an integral part of our philosophy at Credit Agricole − to provide assistance where it is needed most," comments Oleksandr Zarichniuk, Head of the Commercial Sector at Credit Agricole Ukraine.
