Medical equipment amounting to UAH 2 million for a children’s hospital in Kryvyi Rih

29 October 2025

Credit Agricole donated medical equipment worth UAH 2 million to the Kryvyi Rih Municipal Children’s Hospital No. 4. The medical facility received 20 modern electric hospital beds and 2 bedside monitors for the intensive care unit, replacing outdated equipment. This good deed was carried out in cooperation with the “Your Support” charity fund, the bank’s longstanding partner.

The new beds are equipped with a remote control and a control panel, while their mobility and smart design provide better care and maximum comfort. The bedside monitors assist medical staff in monitoring vital signs of children in critical condition around the clock, and as a result, help to timely adjust treatment.

“Unfortunately, the number of children in need of inpatient treatment constantly rises, so we aspire to make their stay in the hospital as comfortable and safe as possible. New functional beds help us in this and make treating children much easier, while the modern monitors give the opportunity to consistently monitor heart rate, blood saturation, arterial pressure, and other vital signs. It is extremely important for us to have the ability to quickly respond, as the child’s condition can change in an instant. The autonomous monitors are especially valuable because they can continue running for 6 more hours in case of a blackout,” says Maryna Zelenska, the hospital’s director

Kryvyi Rih Municipal Children’s Hospital No. 4 is a multidisciplinary institution that provides specialized medical care to children and teenagers from every part of the city. Last year alone, around 60 thousand children received treatment here, over 50 thousand of the cases were consultations on an outpatient basis, and 7.5 thousand cases were inpatient care.

“We understand the importance of providing medical facilities with high-quality equipment, as every second matters when it comes to saving children’s lives. Over the last few years, Credit Agricole has only strengthened its socially responsible position. We continue supporting the public particularly focusing on aiding medical facilities in Ukraine. From the start of the full-scale invasion, Credit Agricole has allocated over UAH 190 million for different charity projects. To be in places where you are needed is part of our philosophy,” comments Olha Reznyk, head of the Commercial Sector at Credit Agricole
