Kyiv Regional Children's Hospital No. 2 in the city of Bila Tserkva has received new state-of-the-art equipment worth UAH 995 238. Crédit Agricole du Morbihan, the regional bank of the Group, donated extremely important medical equipment to the hospital, namely a patient capnography monitor, a solution heating system, and 2 sets of infusion syringe pumps. All this equipment will help save children's lives. The project was implemented with the assistance of “Your Support” Charity Fund.
According to doctors, the institution was in critical need of new equipment, as a significant part of its in-service equipment had already exhausted its resource.
“Due to frequent malfunctions, there were interruptions in surgeries, which was unacceptable when treating children in serious condition. The new equipment will enable us to help more children. Infusion syringe pumps are needed for precise delivery of medications, which is vital for newborns, the monitor is applied for accurate control over the child’s indicators and used in the intensive care unit, and the system for heating solutions is extremely important in the treatment of hypothermia, prevention of complications before, during and after surgeries”, says the head physician of Kyiv Regional Children’s Hospital No. 2 in Bila Tserkva.
