Credit Agricole continues supporting IT community in Ukraine: this time the bank became a general partner of Tech Unity: Clusters Forum, a large IT event that will take place on December 2 in the Mystetskyi Arsenal National Art and Culture Museum Complex in Kyiv. The key organizer of the event is our long-term partner, Kharkiv IT Cluster.
Tech Unity: Clusters Forum is the first and only event where IT clusters from all over Ukraine will gather, together with the representatives of tech businesses, the state, education, and investors to coordinate joint actions and solutions that will define the development of the sector in 2026. All proceeds will be donated to charity.
The forum will bring together 3,000 participants, 500 companies, 40 spokespersons, and will consist of 8 topics: from talent growth and IT education to investments, defence technologies, AI, and digital transformation. For the first time in Ukraine, a joint General Assembly of regional IT and tech clusters will be held on one platform. A developer from Kharkiv, a founder of a startup from Odesa, a professor from Vinnystsia, everyone will find their own stage, their people, and partnerships that create the future in the industry.
“Today, Ukraine's tech industry consists of thousands of initiatives and hundreds of communities working independently of each other. Tech Unity creates a shared space where people can negotiate, coordinate actions, and launch real interregional projects. This is a place with no “individual players”,”
Olha Shapoval, executive director of Kharkiv IT Cluster, shares the key idea of the event.
These are the three points that make this event special:
- First Global Assembly of Ukraine’s tech clusters. For the first time, regional tech clusters will hold a joint General Assembly in one place. Instead of separate meetings in different cities, there will be one platform for presentations and experience exchange.
- A dialogue between the industries instead of a monologue. Defence tech, education, investors, business, and the state, each and every one of them will share a platform. These are not formal panel discussions, but work sessions with specific results: founders of startups discuss the dual-use innovations with the representatives of the defence sector; CEO of corporations search for the solutions together with the AI teams; universities coordinate programs with the tech employers.
- From fragmentation to system. Despite the war, Ukraine has one of the most dynamic tech ecosystems in Europe. The downside is its fragmentation: often, regions, industry, and separate initiatives work out of sync. Tech Unity becomes a space where these efforts come together, while the participants search for common ground, partnerships, and solutions for the industry’s development.
Credit Agricole is delighted to support tech events, as the development of the innovative banking is an opportunity to create better digital solutions for the bank’s customers.
