Credit Agricole is awarded silver at the prestigious international competition by EFMD Global

Credit Agricole was awarded silver in the “Leadership Development” category at the Excellence in Practice Awards 2025, a prestigious international competition organized by EFMD Global. The competition jury recognized the bank’s “Managerial School” project, which was implemented in 2021 and has been running in cooperation with KROK Business School for two years now.

This program is designed for bank employees with no managerial experience who are motivated to advance further up the career ladder. The program’s key objective is to enhance employees’ managerial competencies, such as strategic planning, effective communication, change management, and leadership skills. The program promotes career advancement opportunities and strengthens the bank’s managerial competency. As part of the learning process, each participant receives mentoring from top-management and takes part in designing and carrying out practical tasks related to improving the bank’s processes within the current project portfolio.

The deciding factors of choosing the winners were:

• a clearly defined and justified business challenge;
• the stability of partnership obligations between the company and education provider;
• the quality and effectiveness of the program (structure, methods, selection of participants, and assessment of the progress);
• proven business impact and results for the company, its people, and the organization as a whole.

The EFMD Excellence in Practice Awards are among the most reputable international awards in training and development. Annually, the organizers recognize the best corporate practices realized through cooperation with business schools.
