Credit Agricole is awarded as part of the National Competition “Charitable Ukraine-2025”

On June 9, an award ceremony was held in Kyiv as part of the National Competition “Charitable Ukraine-2025”, one of the most prestigious awards in the area of charity and social responsibility in Ukraine. Credit Agricole became a winner of the competition and placed third in the “Charity of Foreign Businesses” category.

“We are grateful to the juries for their high assessment of our activities. This recognition confirms the importance of social and charitable projects that Credit Agricole realizes in Ukraine. From the start of the full-scale invasion alone, as part of the We Care! program, the bank has allocated over UAH 190 million to different charitable initiatives, particularly to support medical facilities. We will continue supporting projects aimed at helping those in need, as it is an integral part of Credit Agricole’s strategy,” comments Olena Tokar, head of the Brand and Communications Department at Credit Agricole Ukraine.

For over 10 years, Credit Agricole Ukraine has been realizing its own corporate social responsibility program, We Care!, that consists of four main areas: charity, volunteering, caring for employees, and ecological initiatives. The bank’s charitable projects are carried out with the support of the international Group and its regional banks. About ten of these banks serve as donors to Ukrainian initiatives, while the team in Ukraine, in cooperation with charity organizations, oversees their realization.

One of the program’s key priorities is the purchase of medical equipment for hospitals. The largest initiative to date has been the support provided to the Kyiv Regional Perinatal Center, for which amounted to over UAH 50 million. Over the course of more than two years, this charitable initiative has brought together the efforts of four institutions within the international Group.

The National Competition “Charitable Ukraine-2025” is an independent annual nationwide competition, organized for 19th consecutive year, that honors the best philanthropists, volunteers, businesses, and the most effective charitable initiatives in Ukraine and abroad. In 2025, nearly 1,700 applications were submitted to the competition, and three winners were selected in each of the 27 categories.
