Information on the gradual withdrawal of some previous generation banknotes and coins from circulation

Dear customers, pursuant to NBU Resolution No. 213 of 04.10.2022, since January 1, 2023, banks, including Credit Agricole Bank, have commenced gradual withdrawal of paper UAH 5, 10, 20 and 100 banknotes of the 2003-2007 series (i.e., the previous generation) aimed at their gradual replacement with the updated notes. In their place, circulating UAH 5 and 10 coins of the 2018 issue and paper UAH 20 and 100 banknotes of the new generation will be entered into circulation.

This process is not to cause any inconvenience for customers while increasing the protection and quality of money and will make settlements more convenient.

In view of the procedure established by the NBU, from January 1, 2023 at Credit Agricole:

• UAH 5, 10, 20 and 100 banknotes of the 2003-2007 series are not issued at cash desks for any type of cash transactions.
• Only incoming transactions with legal entities and private individuals for crediting to accounts are performed with UAH 5, 10, 20 and 100 banknotes of the 2003-2007 series, as well as deposits and letters of credit for performance of payment transactions.
