Credit Agricole became a title partner for the PolyTECH Summit, a tech education event for students organized with the support from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on October 18 in the UNIT.City.
The event brought together over 700 guests, who received an opportunity to deep-dive into IT field. Here, the global companies have demonstrated the abilities of technologies to change the education and open doors into the world of innovations. They have also talked about the career opportunities for the youth.
The spokesperson from the bank was Viacheslav Ozerov, head of the Treasury Department at Credit Agricole, who presented the topic “Macroeconomics: complex matters in simple words”. During the presentation, he talked about how to practically analyze complex macroeconomic indicators, such as GDP, inflation, exchange rate, as well as their importance in managing company and launching startups.
During the event, the Credit Agricole team presented their two brand zones:
- Near the main stage: an interactive zone with the Kahoot game where students from every part of Ukraine could test their knowledge about the bank and receive cool gifts based on their results.
- HR zone: a zone to get acquainted with the career opportunities at Credit Agricole and get a chance to speak with the bank’s representatives.
Before the PolyTECH Summit, the participants completed their 5-week PolyTECH EDU program, during which they received practical knowledge from the market leaders, including the Credit Agricole experts. All in all, over 1,000 students participated in the online lectures and the summit. During the online program, the following experts gave lectures:
- Inna Fandych, the bank’s HR team representative who talked about Le Village, the accelerator for startups, and career opportunities at Credit Agricole;
- Denys Babenko, head of the Proximity Marketing and Innovations Department, with the topic “Marketing for a Generation That Doesn’t Believe in Ads”;
- Anna Dykhnova, projects and programs manager from the same department, with the lecture “Think like a startup: how Credit Agricole transforms banking processes into innovative products”;
- Andrii Knyr, deputy director of the IT Development Department, head of R&D who shared his vision on the role of AI in the banks’ digital transformation.
Credit Agricole continues developing the Code of Trust project, a comprehensive solution for IT experts. Within this initiative, the bank supports young professionals in IT field by creating opportunities for education and career growth.
