Not so long ago, Credit Agricole partnered on the PolyTECH Summit, an event organized by the UNIT.City innovation park with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The summit brought together more than 300 students from 35 technical and polytechnic higher education institutions in Ukraine. The youth presented their startups, spoke with employers, and participated in discussions about technology and career in Ukraine.
The event marked the final stage of the PolyTECH Project, which also included a five-week PolyTECH EDU program and two-week PolyTECH Bootcamp in Kyiv and Lviv. Throughout the project, the participants worked on case studies from businesses, spoke with experts, and gained experience with teamwork, where every idea counts.
Experts from Credit Agricole joined the PolyTECH Project educational program. Olena Tokar, head of the Brand and Communications Department, spoke about creative thinking and marketing, while Anna Dykhnova, Program and Project manager in the Proximity Marketing and Innovations Department, discussed tech trends in the banking sector. Nataliia Petukhova, a human resources expert at Credit Agricole, talked about professional development trends and shared career advice for young professionals. Nataliia Ozhanska, chief expert in Attracting and Supporting IT Customers, spoke about combating modern fraud schemes.
“For Credit Agricole, participating in such initiatives is an opportunity to contribute to the development of Ukraine’s technology ecosystem and to foster connections between education and business. We value initiatives that provide young people the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the industry, develop their own projects, and prepare for professional challenges. After all, nurturing talent today is part of the future of Ukraine’s economy,” comments Oksana Yashchenko, head of Professionals and PI Customer Development Department, responsible for cooperation with IT industry at Credit Agricole, who joined the expert jury that evaluated students’ startups as part of PolyTECH Startup Intensive.
Credit Agricole’s HR team also participated in the summit to introduce students to career opportunities at the bank. Tetiana Kyrylenko, head of Expert Recruitment at Credit Agricole, spoke to students about the skills needed to remain competitive in the international job market.
“To be competitive in today’s job market, it’s important not only to acquire knowledge but also to continually develop practical skills, adapt to change, and understand employers’ needs. Exposure to the business industry while still studying helps the youth better navigate market demands and make more informed career choices. Despite the full-scale invasion, there are many opportunities in Ukraine for personal growth and career development. It is important that students not only know about them but also learn to consciously choose the ones that will be most beneficial for their future professional development,” noted Tetiana Kyrylenko, head of Expert Recruitment at Credit Agricole.
As part of international Credit Agricole Group, we believe in the power of expertise, innovation, and partnership.
We would like to thank our partners at UNIT.City for creating a space where young people, businesses, and the tech community can connect!
