Credit Agricole and Lviv Polytechnic: investing in the future of Ukraine

Credit Agricole has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Lviv Polytechnic National University. The document was signed by Ostap Pudliak, Head of the Commercial Sector of Credit Agricole Bank, and Oleh Matviikiv, First Vice-Rector of the Lviv Polytechnic.

In the face of today’s challenges, quality education becomes a key factor in the development and reconstruction of our country. Cooperation with Credit Agricole will enrich the educational process with practical knowledge and experience, as understanding of financial processes and the ability to manage personal finances is a necessary skill for each and every professional, regardless of the field of activity.

Support of youth projects in the realm of IT and financial technology will be an important aspect of the partnership.

"Within the Code of Trust project by Credit Agricole, it is important for us to cooperate with the university teaching tech and IT professions," said Nataliia Ozhanska, IT programs coordinator.

Since 2023, experts of Credit Agricole have held more than 10 workshop meetings for university students, including participation in career guidance projects, hackathons, innovation fairs, etc.

"Such initiatives open up new opportunities for our students and contribute to the cultivation of the university's innovative ecosystem," supported the initiative Iryna Andrushkiv, Head of the ‘Smart Space’ innovation space.

Joint projects and initiatives for students are scheduled within the partnership.

"We are convinced that live communication between students and banking experts is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience. Thus, we introduce a mentorship program where experienced professionals will become mentors for young people," noted Oleh Matviikiv, First Vice-Rector of the Lviv Polytechnic.

This collaboration between business and educational institutions is an investment in the future of Ukraine, which will help raise a new generation of experts ready for the challenges of the modern world.
