Credit Agricole continues supporting Kyiv Regional Perinatal Center

The fourth wave of support for the Kyiv Regional Perinatal Center has launched. Crédit Agricole Nord de France, the regional bank of Crédit Agricole Group, funded the installation of the uninterruptible power supply batteries amounting to nearly UAH 800,000. The project was realized in cooperation with Your Support Charity Fund.

The batteries will be able to provide uninterrupted operation of the intensive care unit and the second stage of neonatal care, specifically in the room-in units for mothers and babies. In these rooms, infants can stay anywhere from a few days to several months, receiving the necessary care. The existing generator only partially covered the facility’s needs, so during periods when the centralized electricity and heat supply was unavailable, critical situations arose during which the newborns had to be temporarily transferred to other rooms. Such transfers pose additional risks for infants with extremely low weight at birth and place a significant burden on medical staff. Furthermore, when the ward is full of patients, not all medical equipment could operate simultaneously due to the generator’s insufficient capacity.

As of now, the total support provided to the Kyiv Regional Perinatal Center has exceeded UAH 50 million. The project to support the facility began at the end of 2023 with a UAH 2.3 million ward renovation and the creation of an intensive care unit. In the summer of 2024, the center received medical equipment worth UAH 42.5 million, and in 2025, a new diagnostic ultrasound machine.

The project is part of the bank’s large-sale corporate responsibility program, We Care!, which celebrates its 10^th anniversary this year.

Crédit Agricole Nord de France has once again joined in the implementation of crucial social initiatives in Ukraine. The bank made a significant contribution in the launch and equipment of the neonatal intensive care unit in the Kyiv Regional Perinatal Center, and in 2023 donated the medical equipment amounting to UAH 8 million for the Chernihiv Regional Hospital.
