Credit Agricole consistently supports the development of the Ukrainian IT community and participates in the industry’s most important events. Recently, we were the partner bank for the Annual Gathering event organized by our long-standing partners Diia.City Union, where we received the “Tech Industry Partner” award. For Credit Agricole, this award is a tribute to our long-term partnership with the IT community and recognition of the bank’s sustained contribution to the development of the technology industry.
"At Credit Agricole, we see IT not as individual customers, but as a holistic ecosystem - from students to clusters to associations. The development of the IT community is an important part of supporting the tech industry. In 2025, the bank, together with our partner Diia.City Union, implemented seven joint events for the IT audience with the involvement of external industry experts who shared their knowledge. We thank our partners for the award and believe that even more useful joint projects await us in the future," says Oleksandr Kurkin, Board Member, responsible for Proximity Banking and Network at Credit Agricole.
The Annual Gathering is an annual event that traditionally brings together community members and partners to present the results of their activities and identify the key areas of development. The conference was held in the cozy Parkovy Exhibition and Convention Center in Kyiv and brought together over 400 leaders from the technology sector. The event featured welcoming remarks from:
- Nataliia Denikeieva, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine;
- Taras Kytsmey, co-founder and member of the Board of Directors at SoftServe, President of Diia.City Union;
- Oksana Yashchenko, Head of IT Industry Cooperation Development Department.
"Our role is to be not just a financial institution, but a partner who understands the specifics of the IT business, speaks the same language as our clients, and offers solutions that work in today’s real-world conditions. We invest not only in products or services, we invest in relationships, ecosystems, and long-term cooperation. That is why supporting Diia.City Union is an investment in the joint development of the industry for us," noted Oksana Yashchenko.
Valeriia Kushnerchuk, Executive Director of Diia.City Union, shared an overview of their annual activities. In 2025, Diia.City Union focused on strengthening the interaction between the IT business and the government, developing the international track, and creating new opportunities for members.
Key achievements include:
- 145 new companies joined in 2025
- 25 GR events and meetings with ministries and relevant institutions
- 1 000+ individual requests processed by the Union team
- 30+ events attended by over 6 000 guests
- 8 international delegations with the participation of 55+ companies
As part of the event, Credit Agricole presented its own Code of Trust brand zone, where anyone could learn about the bank’s useful financial solutions for IT entrepreneurs. In addition, guests had the opportunity to have their photos taken in a photo booth with instant printing so they could take home memories of the event.
The Annual Gathering also featured an award ceremony for Diia.City Union member companies and partners.
"Synergy, inclusion, and trust – these are the values on which we built the Diia.City Union development strategy. These values became the foundation that allowed us to unite 310 companies in two years. I would like to thank each participant, our partners, and the Ukrainian government for the dialogue, for their willingness to listen, and for the cooperation that allows transparent companies to operate, invest, create jobs, and develop the economy," said Valeriia Kushnerchuk.
We thank the organizers for the award and the opportunity to support the tech community together.
