UAH 330,000 for functional beds for hospital from Credit Agricole team

At the end of 2022, Credit Agricole employees realized one more great initiative. Bank’s team donated nearly UAH 330,000, which were intended for New Year’s activities, to charity. In cooperation with the charitable foundation “Your Support”, the Bank purchased 11 functional beds for the Novomoskovsk Central Regional Hospital for Intensive Care with these funds. The beds have already been delivered and used in the daily intensive care of patients.

"The Novomoskovsk Central Regional Hospital is located near the front-line towns of Cherkaske and Gvardiyske and is the main medical facility for 170,000 residents of the area. Wounded soldiers and civilians are treated here. Some of the old hospital beds were in poor condition. Thanks to the kind hearts of our colleagues, we have managed to purchase 11 new high-quality functional beds within a very short period of time, before the New Year. This is our contribution to the fastest recovery of war victims. The team of Credit Agricole once again proved its strong corporate culture and created a little Christmas miracle," comments Victoria Toryanyk, head of Brand & Communications Department at Credit Agricole.

This charity initiative is part of the CSR program "We Care!", which has been operating in the bank since 2016. Since the war broke out, the bank has allocated 21,000,000 hryvnias to aid hospitals and war victims.

"Recently, we visited the Novomoskovsk Central Regional Hospital to hand over functional beds and sweet gifts that we had prepared for the wounded soldiers. With this initiative, we want to support patients and thank doctors for their daily life-saving work. The hospital currently employs over 500 health professionals, including Candidates of Medical Sciences. We strongly believe that functional beds will help patients recover faster," says Olha Reznyk, head of Commercial Sector at Credit Agricole Bank.
