Carlos de Cordoue, Chairman of the Management Board at Credit Agricole, visited the hospital in Dnipro and brought new medical equipment worth over UAH 2 million, purchased by the international Group with the assistance of Tvoya Opora charity fund. State-of-the-art electroneuromyograph, manufactured in Japan, is already helping to save lives in surgery and instant care units.
“It helps us diagnose a number of chronic ailments and is used for neurosurgical interventions. It is a great advantage that this unit is mobile. It will be of great use in surgery unit and instant care unit, it will also help diagnose illnesses in children during intensive therapy or surgical interventions”, - shares Oleksii Vlasov, Head of the hospital in Dnipro.
The hospital receives patients both from Dnipropetrovk region and the neighbouring ones –those that are under occupation and where hostilities are ongoing. These are primarily wounded children. The new machine will help significantly improve the quality of surgeries and prevent disabilities from developing in the future.
“Our history with this hospital goes back several months. We appreciate how they help patients, what they do here, so we support this institution. As part of our first charitable initiative, we donated resuscitation ambulance, now we come with the new medical equipment. We have operated in Ukraine for 30 years, so we feel commitment and we keep making our contribution in its development. At Credit Agricole, we have numerous good initiatives, we have gained momentum since the start of the war and we are planning on cultivating them”, - tells Carlos de Cordoue, Chairman of the Management Board at Credit Agricole Ukraine.
This charitable initiative is realized as part of one of the most far-reaching charity projects of Credit Agricole Group – purchase of over UAH 16 million worth of medical equipment for hospitals in Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Chernihiv and Dnipro.
Since the war broke out in Ukraine, Credit Agricole has taken an active stance, implemented over 30 good-deed initiatives and allocated UAH 72 million for charity. Its primary concern is helping the hospitals and those affected by the war. The bank has a systemic approach in terms of its own corporate social responsibility program “We Care!”.
