Credit Agricole has started vaccinating employees and their relatives against COVID-19. Thanks to the Ministry of Health program, the Bank has already received 516 doses of Pfizer and 394 doses of Moderna vaccines. Vaccination began in mid-July at Credit Agricole’s Head Office in Kyiv and in the beginning of August in the Ivano-Frankivsk branch, and among those who have been already vaccinated over 50% is accounted for by relatives and friends of the bank employees.
“We started the vaccination process very quickly, literally on the second day after the registration of employees. Even so, we made sure that it was convenient for everyone to go through this process - we divided people into groups, scheduled appointment times for each, and arranged the waiting and rest areas. What struck me was how many colleagues brought their relatives, since more than 50% of vaccines in the bank were received by employees’ relatives. All that proves is that our colleagues have a clear conscious position and that they can always rely on Credit Agricole. I would also like to thank the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on behalf of the whole bank for the timely provision of the vaccine and the opportunity to organize the vaccination directly in the office without having to take care of everything oneself, ” comments Olena Urusova.
Credit Agricole employees are currently receiving the second dose of the vaccine in Kyiv, and the bank is working on a vaccination plan for the employees in the regions.
“It is so heartwarming to be able to come with your loved ones, spend only about 10-15 minutes per person thanks to well-coordinated action, and then have a rest for another 20-25 minutes in a comfortable place. To top it off, our bank is one of the few companies that has allowed us to bring relatives without any restrictions. I feel cared for and proud of being part of a business with a good heart, ” tells Lyudmyla Korchak.
Credit Agricole has been taking care of employees’ safety and comfort since the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, inter alia, by procuring laptops for remote work and providing transfers to those who need to work in the office or outlet. On top of that, Credit Agricole has allocated more than 11.2 million hryvnias to help hospitals since the coronavirus crisis began. With these funds, the bank, with the support of “Tvoia Opora” charitable foundation, purchased almost 100 units of medical equipment and helped 10 hospitals from 8 oblasts, including support hospitals in Kyiv, Ternopil, and Kharkiv, and the Chernivtsi regional hospital.
