Over UAH 8 million on medical equipment for the hospital from Crédit Agricole Group and Crédit Agricole Nord de France

New modern equipment worth over UAH 8 million was handed over to Chernihiv regional hospital. International Credit Agricole Group and its regional bank Crédit Agricole Nord de France donated 12 functional electric beds, 7 medical aspirators, 3 artificial lung ventilation units, 2 surgical medical aspirators, high frequency electro-surgical unit and operating surgical table to the hospital. This equipment will help save human lives. The project has been implemented in cooperation with Tvoya Opora charity fund.

“Since the war broke out, we actually increased our efforts in terms of the number of initiatives and involved the reaching support of the international group. Each new charitable project means real help for Ukraine and lives saved”, - Mykola Tsaryk, Head of Credit Agricole regional branch in Chernihiv.

During the previous year, Chernihiv regional hospital handled 13 surgical interventions. It receives patients with various complicated conditions. The new surgical table will enable doctors to do x-rays without needing to leave the operating theatre. According to the medical practitioners, this aspect is crucial, as previously patients would have to be transported to a different building.

“The gift of artificial lung ventilation units manufactured by Hamilton, which is a top-tier company in terms of development and production of such equipment, is of the utmost importance for us. The units have numerous ventilation modes that can be adjusted for patients with different pathologies”, - Hennadii Stukalo, head of anaesthesiology department that includes intensive care unit of Communal Nonprofit Enterprise “Chernihiv regional hospital”. 

The medical equipment donated by Credit Agricole also includes functional electric beds that can be easily modified to suit the patients’ needs.

Since the start of the war, Credit Agricole implemented over 30 charitable initiatives that total over UAH 72 million.
