Moody's raised Credit Agricole Group rating one notch

Moody's has just raised the long-term rating for Crédit Agricole Group, the 38 rated Regional Banks and CACIB up one notch to A1, with a stable outlook. Short-term ratings stand at P-1. These higher ratings reflect the improvement in Crédit Agricole Group fundamentals, in particular, bolstered asset quality, a clear recovery in profitability since the end of 2014, and a continuous improvement in capitalisation. In addition, Moody's highlighted the Group's good liquidity and satisfactory refinancing structure.
