The costly foreign-made medical equipment worth over UAH 4.5 million for Vinnytsia M.I. Pyrohov Regional Clinical Hospital was gifted by international Credit Agricole Group with the assistance of Credit Agricole Ukraine and “Your Support” charity fund. The above includes 8 patient monitors, 1 anaesthesia apparatus, 5 syringe infusion pumps.
“All the equipment has been installed already and is helping to provide a more sophisticated medical care, in particular, during surgeries. For instance, it facilitates the treatment of burns, especially in cases where their area is 30-50% of the patient’s body surface”, - Vasyl Panenko, Head of M.I. Pyrohov Regional Clinical Hospital.
The hospital provides highly specialized outpatient and inpatient care to residents of Vinnytsia region, to the wounded and victims. During the previous year only, 23 thousand patients received treatment here and nearly 18 thousand surgeries were completed. This medical institution is crucial for the residents of the region.
“Credit Agricole is a bank of good deeds, we support the society and our special focus is helping medical institutions. Since the war broke out, we implemented about 25 charity projects, including systemic initiatives of several million”, - Oleksandr Zarichniuk, Director of Credit Agricole Commercial Sector.
Since the war outbreak in Ukraine, Credit Agricole allocated UAH 26 million for various charitable projects, primarily for the purchase of medical equipment for hospitals with the assistance of Your Support charity fund. At the same time, Credit Agricole Group, in a show of unity with Ukrainians set up the emergency solidarity fund of EUR 10 million and since the beginning of invasion allocated EUR 700 thousand to aid Ukraine and those affected by the war.
