Recently, the international Credit Agricole Group donated UAH 850 thousand worth of modern medical equipment to Vinnytsia Regional Phtisiopulmonological Clinical Center. Two electrocardiographs and a colposcope have already been installed and are helping doctors do their job, mobile patient lift and patient patient stretcher trolley will be delivered soon. All the equipment is modern and procured at the hospital’s request for the purpose of improving diagnostics of serious illnesses such as cancers, cardiac conditions and tuberculosis, as well to help with patient care. The bank implemented this good deed with the support of the "Your Support" foundation.
“For a while now tuberculosis has not been considered the disease of the socially vulnerable populations. Thanks to medications and modern equipment, wide majority of cases can now be cured with outpatient treatment. And electrocardiograph is instrumental in this process, as we use it to help control how the patient treatment is going. The capacity of our institution is 120 patient beds. At the moment, 80 patients are receiving treatment here, including soldiers and internally displaced Ukrainians”, - shares Oleksandr Sluzhyvyi, head of Communal Nonprofit Enterprise “Vinnytsia Regional Phtisiopulmonological Clinical Center”.
It is the third charitable initiative realized for hospitals of Vinnytsia region, which Credit Agricole implemented with the assistance of “Your Support” Charity Foundation. In the summer of 2023, the International Group donated over UAH 4.5 million worth of the modern medical equipment to the regional clinical hospital; in the spring – rehabilitation treadmills for patients of Vinnytsia Yushchenko Regional Psychoneurological Hospital. The total amount of charity assistance now totals nearly UAH 5.5 million.
“We are implementing charitable projects because we believe that our power comes from kindness, generosity and support and it imparts to us the strength to overcome even the darkest of times. This is the kind of philosophy that Credit Agricole and our team live by. More than ever before, we are feeling that Credit Agricole Ukraine is part of the international Group that demonstrates its unprecedented support and solidarity with Ukrainians. The Group’s charitable assistance provided to hospitals is another proof of the above. As a Vinnytsia city native, I am happy to see Credit Agricole support hospitals of Vinnytsia region”, - shares Oleksandr Zarichniuk, Director of Commercial Sector of Credit Agricole.
In total, the bank has implemented 45 charitable projects since the start of the war. Credit Agricole allocated UAH 92 million for the purchase of medical equipment for the hospitals of Ukraine and to support those affected by the war.
