Credit Agricole supports business in Ukraine

25 July 2022

In times of war, Credit Agricole provides finance and makes its contribution to support Ukrainian business. This week, the CEO of Credit Agricole Carlos de Cordoue and Board Members Jean-Pierre Pallard, Stephane Fallick, and Alexandre Tchesnakoff visited a number of business customers of the bank in Ukraine. They met the representatives of agribusiness, pharmaceutics, logistics, trade, energy sector, health care and chemical industry. Live communication with customers is crucial for partnership relations support and strengthening.

«We held many meetings during the week: with corporate customers of the bank, companies from various economic sectors. Live communication is crucial: it helps understand the needs of customers, and customers realize that they can rely on Credit Agricole even during the war. This strengthens the foundations of our partnership relations. We will meet our customers again and again in order to support them”, Carlos de Cordoue, the CEO of Credit Agricole Ukraine, commented.

Credit Agricole makes its contribution to support the business, inter alia, by providing finance at a favorable interest rate in the framework of the state program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” for 2 years now. During the war, it is often the only chance to increase working capital, continue operation and preserve jobs for the team. As of today, the loan portfolio of Credit Agricole generated in the framework of the program amounts to UAH 5.7 billion, including almost UAH 1.2 billion of loans granted since the start of the war.
