Credit Agricole supported the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi orphanage

Credit Agricole Bank with the support of the charity fund "Your support" donated more than UAH 45 thousand to help the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi orphanage. About 50 children who are brought up there received 12 thousand diapers.

“The program "We Care!" from Credit Agricole is a story of good deeds and support. This time we supported the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi orphanage. It is the home to the youngest children aged 2 to 4 who are deprived of parental care. Therefore, we spent money on the most necessary supplies – diapers. When we met with the children and their tutors, everyone was touched to tears. I am sincerely proud of the bank that has a kind heart and shares its warmth,” commented Liudmyla Hoiman, Deputy Director of the South Macro region of Credit Agricole Bank.

Charitable support to the orphanage was provided within the corporate social responsibility program "We Care!", which has been in place in Credit Agricole since 2016 and for the second year in a row is included in the 25 best programs according to the magazine "Vlast’ Deneg".

"As a socially responsible business, this year Credit Agricole has focused its efforts on helping hospitals to combat COVID-19. We implemented the largest charitable initiative in the history of the bank ─ we purchased medical equipment worth UAH 6.3 million. While implementing systemic charitable projects, we do not overlook orphanages, where the situation is difficult even in normal times. We are pleased to be able to support those who need it most,” said Galyna Zhukova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Credit Agricole Bank.

As part of the charity, Credit Agricole Bank helps hospitals and orphanages. Employees of the bank raise funds for the treatment of children (UAH 210 thousand were raised in 4 years) and participate in the Donor Days: over the three-year period, the bank has held 29 Donor Days involving more than 250 employees. The members of the bank's Management Board organize a charity auction and show by their own example how important it is to do something good.
