Credit Agricole obtained the status of qualified provider of electronic trust services

Credit Agricole obtained the status of a qualified provider of electronic trust services from the National Bank of Ukraine, which is acknowledged by respective entry in the Trusted List. Currently, only two commercial banks in Ukraine have this status. Eventually, customers of Credit Agricole will be able to receive qualified electronic signature services (the QES) using the Client-bank system. It is an effective solution for remote identification allowing companies to move onto electronic document flow quickly and safely, and spares them many paper documents.

“For our customers, we develop and implement the highest quality services, which enable effective electronic document flow processes in accordance with current trends. Our business customers will not have to turn to external organizations in order to receive the qualified electronic signature. This service will be available at Credit Agricole. Here they will be able to get an advice, order financial products, and receive a modern-day tool to confirm their electronic documents right off. The Bank has come a long way that lasted over two years to obtain the status of a qualified provider of electronic trust services, and be compliant with all norms of the Ukrainian law and European telecommunication standards. 

“The Bank entered the new 2021 year with the new status! We understand how this service will simplify the document flow, and optimize companies’ operational activity. That is why we, so to speak, have moved mountains to make it possible to deliver it to our customers as soon as possible. In order to do that, the bank’s team have implemented a complex of software tools, have built data storage and protection systems, and have purchased necessary equipment. All internal processes of Credit Agricole are set up to the highest specifications, which guarantees uninterrupted services of the qualified electronic signature to our customers,” commented Kyrylo Shuhai, Head of the IT Security Division of Credit Agricole Bank.   

Provision of qualified electronic trust services by Credit Agricole includes:

• Creation, verification, and confirmation of the qualified electronic signature;
• Formation, verification, and confirmation of the qualified electronic time stamp;
• Use of protected information carriers;
• Qualified certificates servicing (formation, blocking, renewal, cancellation).
