#We Care! Credit Agricole Bank donated 176 units of equipment for charity

20 November 2017

Credit Agricole Bank continues doing good deeds within its Corporate Social Responsibility program "We Care!", expanding areas of charity.

November 14, Credit Agricole Bank finished the first large-scale wave of the new project "Facilities pro bono", aimed at donating the equipment, which was in the bank's facilities and resources stock. Within the charity project, the bank aimed to provide technical support to orphanages, boarding schools and other non-profit organizations that need help. In total, 176 units of equipment were distributed to 17 organizations, which are located in different parts of Ukraine. The bank as well covered all the expenses for delivering the equipment to each institution.

Patrice Aubert, member of the Management Board, Chief Operations Officer of Credit Agricole Bank commented"Being strong and progressive bank, we understand all the importance of corporate social responsibility projects. We strive not just to build a successful business, but also to be useful for society, to contribute to the development of the country, to help those who are in need, and ultimately to support the projects focused on the future. Therefore, we launched another important charity project "Facilities pro bono" and donated the computer equipment to non-profit organizations. We believe that in the digital era, the technical equipment is important for orphanages, boarding schools or other social organizations. It is a prerequisite for digital development, for expanding learning opportunities, and this could be the first steps towards shaping the digital outlook of the future generation. We are glad that we can use our bank's material fund resources to good and charitable matters. And, of course, we will continue to expand the geography of the project and attract more organizations».

The Corporate Social Responsibility Program "We Care!" was launched in Credit Agricole Bank in 2016. In general, it focuses on several key areas: green initiatives, employee’s care and charity. The bank is constantly expanding the scope of its charitable activities, focusing on supporting medical institutions and health of society, helping orphanages and contributing to the future. The project "Facilities pro bono" is about contributing to the future, because personal computers for non-profit institutions are a possibility of technological development and modernization. This project is a long-term, after finishing the first wave, the bank will again compose the list of orphanages and boarding schools which need the computers.

The project was initiated at the beginning of the year and implemented with the participation of teams from different bank’s divisions: Logistics Department, Information Technology Department, Purchasing and Resource Management Department, Head of Regional Outlets and Public Relations and Internal Communications team, which acted as project coordinator. Gratitude to all colleagues for the excellent internal synergy in favor of another good project!
