Credit Agricole received an award in the "Social Support Leader" nomination, and Olena Urusova, the bank's HRD, was recognized among the best HRDs according to the "TOP 100. Ratings of the Largest" magazine and the Delo.ua business portal (02.07.2025). The award ceremony took place during the annual HR Wisdom Summit conference. A total of 75 HRDs and 150 leading Ukrainian companies representing key sectors of the economy were nominated.
"Social support for employees is one of the key priorities at Credit Agricole, which has gained particular importance during the war. We have a welfare program that covers three core areas, namely physical safety, financial well-being and mental health. Also, we pay special attention to health insurance, life insurance, as well as assistance to colleagues and their families affected by the war," comments Olena Urusova, HRD at Credit Agricole.
As a socially responsible business, Credit Agricole supports society. Since 2016, the bank has been running “We Care!”, a large-scale CSR program. It covers four key areas, namely charity, environmental initiatives, volunteering and employee care. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the bank has allocated UAH 170 million to various charitable initiatives, mostly to the purchase of medical equipment for hospitals.
The panel of judges considered the following factors when determining the winners:
- adaptability and change management;
- leadership in team building;
- originality and innovation of projects;
- authority and proactivity within the market;
- level of corporate culture and internal communications.
And when determining the best employers in Ukraine 2025, the expert panel of judges assessed the candidates according to the following criteria:
- corporate training and programs for the development of young professionals;
- social package and methods for improving the well-being of personnel;
- automation of HR processes and the introduction of innovations in personnel management;
- remuneration, compensation and material support tools;
- the level of corporate culture and internal communications;
- support for mobilized employees and resocialization of veterans.
