PJSC “CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK” is one of the most viable Ukrainian banks according to the magazine “Forbes Ukraine”

For the second year in a row PJSC “CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK” has entered the group of banks with the highest level of viability (group A) and occupied the fourth position among 27 biggest Ukrainian banks in the annual bank viability rating by “Forbes Ukraine”.

As mentioned in the editorial, Western financial institutions included to the A group of the rating “not just survived in the times of system distress but retained strategic interest to Ukrainian banking market, which was confirmed by capitalization and loan support from their parent holding groups”.

For calculation of “Large Ukrainian Banks Viability Rating” the authors used traditional financial indicators like indicators of liquidity, profitability, capitalization as well as quality of uninterrupted payments assessment, support from shareholders and their country risk. Calculations were made on the basis of financial reporting of banks as of 01.01.2016, NBU data by results of three quarters and reporting published by AUB were also considered.
