Credit Agricole has received an award in the "Best corporate educational programs" nomination of the annual best employers in Ukraine rating according to the “TOP-100: Ratings of the largest” magazine and Delo.ua business portal.
The bank has a holistic ecosystem of motivational and study programs aimed at acquiring new knowledge, developing key competencies, increasing the expertise of the team and helping our employees to discover new trajectories of their career, while ensuring the sustainable development of the company.
Specifically, the panel of judges assessed the exceptional training system created by the bank, which includes the following corporate programs: "AgroSchool", "Managerial School" and "Proximity University". These initiatives are aimed at supporting and improving the professional skills of employees at all levels, meeting the Bank's strategic goals of strengthening internal human asset and creating a powerful employee pool capable of effectively responding to dynamic market challenges. The scale of a project, its innovativeness, the educational component, the availability of additional conditions for the well-being and safety of the staff were the main factors in determining the winners of the nomination.
"The war has only strengthened our cross-functional approach, we have increased the number of internal mobility cases and transitions among different business units. We set a goal to change the trajectory of career growth within the company, to create new opportunities for development, both vertical and horizontal. To reach this goal, three corporate study programs were developed, namely AgroSchool, Managerial School and Proximity University", said Olena Urusova, HRD at Credit Agricole.
Curricula and grading system were developed for each program, the most topical themes were selected by expert teachers, both internal and external. CAU has actively involved top managers of the bank as experts. Owing to a comprehensive approach to the learning process, we managed to combine various methods, technologies and resources, namely:
- trainings from leading business schools;
- specialized webinars and workshops from in-house experts;
- creation of an intracommunity of certified mentors working with the mentees (2-3 per mentor) during the training period;
- visits to partner companies’ production sites;
- solving topical practical tasks in teams and defending projects by students.
"Our corporate study programs emphasize that a career nowadays is not a linear path, but a multidimensional system with numerous ramifications and opportunities for vertical and horizontal growth. It is telling that 100% of the bank's management positions in 2023 were filled by internal candidates. And the rate of employee turnover among those who have completed corporate training was less than 3%", added Olena Urusova.
