Credit Agricole Bank implements 3D Secure service for its cards

Taking care of its customers’ money safety, Credit Agricole Bank implements the secure payment technology - 3D Secure.

Thus purchasing goods and services on the Internet using a payment card, the payment will be protected by the 3DS service. The technology provides an additional level of protection through the identification of the cardholder. Each payment transaction on the Internet, on condition that the particular site supports the 3D Secure technology, will require the input of a single digital password, provided in the SMS-message, to confirm the identity of a cardholder.

The main advantages of the service are the safety of electronic payments and the service easy handling.

All the cards, issued by Credit Agricole Bank, will be gradually subscibed to 3D Secure technology. Service requires activation for each card separately. To inform customers about the service implementation, the Bank will be sending the information SMS-messages and / or emails. Activation and using of the service is free of charge!
