Credit Agricole Bank supported the business award “Created by Women”

In March, the “Created by Women” contest was finalized and the results were announced. The purpose of the contest was to support women's entrepreneurship in Ukraine. Credit Agricole Bank became a partner of the event, as it supports women's entrepreneurship and diversity in business, the bank also sees potential in startups. Credit Agricole brings in Ukraine global vision of the Group in terms of diversity. The award was initiated by the Business Women Committee of the CCIFU (French-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), which consists of women heading the French companies in Ukraine.                    

”During last years French companies actively support feminization of managerial positions in business. Around 40% of companies in France are created or initiated by woman. Of course, we can’t say that the situation in France is perfect, but we see tools and ways for improving it. We believe we need to support the woman entrepreneurship in Ukraine and France can become a good example for Ukraine with experience in this sphere”, Jean-Paul Piotrowski, the President of the CCIFU, commented.         

”In Ukraine, French companies make efforts to promote women’s entrepreneur talents and more and more often entrust them with managerial positions, as it happens in France. Credit Agricole became a partner of the event as we believe that the variety of talents demonstrated by women in various spheres of economy deserves recognition and support”, Larysa Bondarieva, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Credit Agricole Bank, commented.       

The winners were selected from 37 applicants representing unique projects of various businesses: architecture, design, farming, food industry, etc.

The first prize was awarded to Ruslana Rymarska, the founder of PE “Let’s be healthy” and TM “Smakuli”

The second prize – to Nataliia Oleksandrenko and PE “Arnika +VBO”  

The third prize – to Oktiabryna Lisovska and her project “Babysss”
