Credit Agricole Bank arranged its traditional event for corporate and VIP clients with a special focus on agro sector

 On October 18, 2016 Credit Agricole Bank conducted its traditional event for corporate clients «Credit Agricole Group – economic outlook for Ukraine in 2016–2017». This year a special focus was made on agro sector. The event took place in InterContinental Hotel and was attended by more than 170 corporate and VIP clients.

«Last year we had a premier of such event and promised to have it on a regular basis. This is a good opportunity to meet together in a more unformal environment and to share with you the expertise of Credit Agricole», - mentioned Jean-Paul Piotrowski, CEO of Credit Agricole Bank during his welcoming speech.

Jean-Paul Piotrowski presented the key priorities of Credit Agricole Bank’s strategy in the frameworks of the global strategy of Credit Agricole Group «Ambition 2020». A special part of the event was dedicated to the presentation to the guests a new Credit Agricole signature. So the guests of the event were the first to know about the new signature of the Credit Agricole Group which will be launched in Ukraine soon.

 

Four speakers form Credit Agricole Group (France), Agritel and Credit Agricole Bank (Ukraine) presented their insights on Ukraine, Europe and world in general.

A regular guest at the event Jean-Louis Martin from Credit Agricole Group delivered a general macroeconomic presentation «World Outlook: 2016-2017».

Jean-Baptiste Clavel from Credit Agricole S.A. made the presentation on the world grain sector «Cereals production and trading. Update and challenges» with a specific focus on EU and Ukraine.

Olivier Bouillet from Agritel paid more attention to grain market and prices evolution in his report «Which opportunities for Ukrainian farmers on the international scene for 2016-2017?».

Vadim Ganah, member of the Management Board of Credit Agricole Bank in charge of financial market presented «Macroeconomic forecast for Ukraine 2017» and made a zoom on the financial and banking sector landscape in Ukraine.

The conference was also attended by the representatives of Credit Agricole Group from Germany, France, United Kingdom, namely Karsten Hitzbleck, Raphael Donnevert, David Renouvel, Masayuki Mori. The guests from business communities also attended the event. Among them there were Nicolas Perrin, counsellor on agricultural matters at the French Embassy in Ukraine and Alexis Struve, Director Business France Ukraine.

During the event a new infographic report «Ukrainian Agribusiness» was presented to the bank’s customers.
