Credit Agricole Bank arranged “Macroeconomic review: summary and trends” – analytical event for customers

On 23 October 2019, Credit Agricole Bank arranged its traditional event “Macroeconomic review: summary and trends”. This, year the event was held in Hilton Hotel Kyiv and it was attended by about 200 corporate and premium customers of the bank. The event was aimed at review and discussion of the latest trends in the Ukrainian and global macroeconomy, experience exchange and networking.

«It is the fifth time in a row that we are organizing this event, which is a good opportunity to share with our clients the knowledge of macro economy experts. This event takes place in a new political environment with a strong willingness to move faster in the transformation of Ukrainian society and to boost the development of the Ukrainian economy: the announced figure 40% GDP growth in 5 years, requiring 50 bn USD investments, cannot leave anyone indifferent. This year Credit Agricole consolidated its position as reference bank for multinational companies and opinion leader on agriculture. We actively participated in the development of the local economy and have maintained our leading position in car financing. In another field we accelerated the bank’s digital transformation with new solutions like Apple Pay and have speeded up the implementation of our new branch concept model», - Jean-Paul Piotrowski, CEO of Credit Agricole Bank, mentioned in his welcome-speech.

Mr. Piotrowski has added that the bank would continue to invest in the innovative and digital banking by implementing its new Mid-Term Plan 2022.

Tania Sollogoub, coordinator of country risk and geopolitical analysis in Credit Agricole Group, presented «Global impact of the geopolitical cycle as a potential New Normal for investors? »

Nadiia Vasylieva, Member of the Supervisory Board of Credit Agricole Bank and of PROZORRO.SALE, Director of the Institute of Digital Transformation, told about digital trends in the economy and consequences.

Oleksandr Pecherytsyn, Chief Economist, Credit Agricole Bank, covered the economy of Ukraine via «6 questions /answers».
