Credit Agricole Bank announces start of lending in terms of IQ Energy program

On January 2, 2018, Credit Agricole Bank started lending in terms of IQ Energy program It The program is aimed to fostering energy efficiency improvements in the Ukrainian residential sector, designed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and supported by donors.

Customers of the bank are already able to get ”Svoboda” cash loan in the amount of maximum UAH 300 000 to invest in energy efficient projects and receive compensation (grant) amounting up to EUR 3 000 to FX account with Credit Agricole Bank. The List of Eligible Materials and Equipment which can be purchased with the European grant contains more than 5000 items. The program will last till September 10, 2020.

About the program

The program was designed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and is financed by the Eastern European Energy Efficiency and Environmental Partnership (E5P) with a major contribution made by the European Union, as well as Sweden and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance. The program was designed to boost energy efficiency improvements in the Ukrainian residential sector. The incentive grant for heat insulation of dwelling totals to 15 million EUR.

IQ Energy program started in Ukraine in April 2016. Approximately 320 million UAH (12 million USD) has been granted to 13 thousand of Ukrainian households for thermal modernization by now.

The EBRD is the largest international financial investor in Ukraine. From the beginning of its operation in the country in 1993 the bank has provided facilities for 383 projects totaling 11.6 billion EUR.
