Credit Agricole Bank: the exclusive financial sponsor of the "Black Sea Grain 2017" International Conference for the 8th year in a row

03 April 2017

On 5-6 April, the XIV International Conference "Black Sea Grain 2017" will be held in Kyiv. Credit Agricole Bank has become the exclusive financial sponsor for the eighth year in a row. "Black Sea Grain 2017" conference is one of the largest world grain forum, which annually brings together more than 700 participants - representatives of more than 500 leading companies from various sectors of agribusiness from 50 countries.

"During the last years, Ukraine’s agriculture sector has been demonstrating steady and powerful development proving to be resilient and fruitful for the whole economy. The continuous investments into capital, infrastructure and technology created the base for a long-term growth in agri sector. Still the potential of Ukraine in agro production, exports, and processing is far from being exploited. Some factors are crucial for further development of the agribusiness in Ukraine. Agrarian sector needs more investments into processing and storage facilities, equipment and logistics as well as more efficiency and better export market diversification. The keys to success are also human factors, manageable farms and confident partnership" - CEO of Credit Agricole Bank, Jean-Paul Piotrowski said.

Credit Agricole believes in the future of agriculture in Ukraine and its successful development and remains committed to this sector. "As a bank that strategically supports the development of the agricultural sector, we will keep bringing innovations to Ukraine, helping agrarians not only with financial solutions but also with professional expertise", - Mr. Piotrowski mentioned.

Olexii Stupak, Head of corporate business development at Credit Agricole Bank, will present the “Overview of Funding Sources for Agricultural Sector” during the conference, and Natalia Porvina, Head of agribusiness support department at Credit Agricole Bank, will take part in the discussion panel: “Ukraine’s Agri Sector in 2017: Investments Deficit Despite High Returns”.

The organizer of the XIV International Conference "Black Sea Grain 2017" is a consulting agency "UkrAgroConsult".
