Clean My City Challenge: the team of Credit Agricole Bank cleaned Dorohozhychi Park

On 4 August, the team of our bank cleaned Dorohozhychi Park in Kyiv under the eco-initiative Clean My City Challengе. 25 bank employees together with their families took part in the cleaning. The location was not selected by chance, as it was in Dorohozhychi park that the bank’s team had planted 50 seedlings of rowans and catalpas (in the terms of «Trees for car loan» campaign) in October 2017.  

According to the rules of Clean My City Challengе, companies take the challenge, clean streets and parks in their city, shoot a video, and pass the baton to other companies. The initiative will help turn illegal dumps into cozy places of rest and call attention to this overarching issue. The project was launched in May this year thanks to MacPaw company.    

Credit Agricole Bank accepted the challenge from Datagroup and passed it to the National Bank of Ukraine and Latifundist media.   

The cleaning of the park was organized by Anna Arkhypenko and Olga Sham, specialists of Sales Network Department within the framework of the project «Together with colleague» when the employees worked in PR & Internal Communications Department.      

«The realization of such an initiative is a clear demonstration of the 20/80 principle. Preparing the campaign was not too difficult and did not take up a lot of resources, but the contribution is very important! 20% of effort produced 80% of the result. We are always glad to make this life better by engaging in such social activities", Anna Arkhypenko, senior specialist of Sales Network Department, said.

"It was nice to get involved in organizing such an event, and to contribute to the improvement in the life of our city. Thanks to our colleagues who joined the initiative, we managed to quickly accomplish the task and have a great time. We were glad to take this challenge and would be pleased to respond to such proposals in the future", Olga Sham, specialist of Sales Network Department, shared her impressions.
