How can a universal bank become attractive for IT customers: Credit Agricole case study

IT sector is among key development vectors for our bank, we included this in the strategy framework of Credit Agricole several years ago. However, how can one redirect the universal international bank towards IT? J We overcame a number of challenges in this regard. Our teams contemplated and rethought the bank’s internal processes, we were able to offer efficient and comprehensive product solutions to IT companies as well as to IT entrepreneurs, automated numerous processes within the bank, developed our in-house digital products. We also continuously cultivate the spirit of entrepreneurship and technologies within the bank. Currently we can sum up preliminary results of several labour-intense years and we can confidently state that we understand this business, we gradually acquire more features of an IT product company ourselves, and accordingly, the trust on the part of IT professionals has grown significantly. Here we share our experience of how to truly benefit our IT customers:

Arrange business-breakfasts for IT in the bank’s digital space

We aspire to be not just a financial partner for IT customers, but also arrange events for our customers to obtain truly valuable information for their business and new contacts. These events are characterised by their amicable atmosphere and are held on the bank’s terrace in the very heart of Kyiv. For instance, around 100 IT and creative industry professionals attended our recent Kyiv IT Breakfast, which we organized in partnership with the awesome team of Kyiv IT Cluster. At the meeting, we discussed Ukraine’s technological ecosystem and shared the experience of how to present your business at international events. Our invited expert, Kateryna Hrechko, CEO of Techosystem, offered advice on how to become member of Ukraine’s official delegation to international IT events and gain the maximum effect from participating. In particular, our guests learned how beneficial side events can be, how to prepare an elevator pitch for prospective investors, how to correctly work with leads and to follow up.

 Besides the useful information, we offered morning coffee to attendees of our business breakfast, as well as professional networking and exclusive gifts for donations, namely the Flag of Ukraine signed by Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
