#We Care! Donor Day in Credit Agricole Bank

On July 28, the employees of Credit Agricole Bank joined the first stage of charitable initiative “Donor Day in Credit Agricole Bank”. 13 employees donated blood to infant patients of the Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. After blood drive procedure the employees of the Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Center gave our employees informative tour and told about the history of creation and development of the above center as well as main lines and results of its work.  

This initiative was one more element of the Bank’s large-scale corporate social responsibility program “We Care!” Willingness to help and contribute to charity is an underlying principle of this program.  

“We all are very different, but equally helpless when we or our family members are in trouble. Blood is priceless and often essential part of the fight against disease. It is magic resource and sharing it doesn’t make us poorer, quite the contrary. Since donor doesn’t just give a piece of himself, but a chance for recovery to a sufferer and a hope for being together again to the family! In return, donor receives emotions that can be triggered only by saving someone’s life! And by saving a life we save the world! I wish all of you could feel like a super hero”, commented Anna Zolotina, Chief of Staff to COO of Credit Agricole Bank.  

Credit Agricole Bank will continue to participate in charitable initiative “Donor Day” on a regular basis.

“It was very important for me to join this philanthropic effort because giving help is normal, let alone giving help to children. I have always wanted to become a blood donor. It is a great feeling when you realize that thanking to you someone’s heart will continue to beat”, said Oksana Hrebeniuk, translator of Credit Agricole Bank.
